1) "I can do it myself"

If you want to handle publication and submission yourself, but formatting is driving you crazy, DesertFlame can layout, format, and provide a print ready PDF document for you. This includes sizing a cover you provide.

2) "I want to do it myself"

If you truly want to self-publish but the prospect seems daunting DesertFlame can get you started. This package includes:

* layout, format, and creation of a print ready PDF document

* assistance in signing up and purchase of your own ISBN through Bowker

* assistance in setting up your own KDP account and author page

* assistance in uploading and finalizing your book

* touring the KDP site with you and explaining aspects of royalties and promotion

3) "Do it for me"

If you have a book written but no time or desire to shepherd it through the process DesertFlame can self-publish your book in your own name and take care of all the details. This package includes:

* layout, format, and creation of a print ready PDF document

* publication through KDP and placement on the Amazon platform

* monthly follow up with sales reports

* monthly payout of 50% of net returns from KDP

* ability to purchase books in bulk at 50% of list price

price - $1295

4)  "I want DesertFlame to publish my book on their platform"

For this option you must submit your book to DesertFlame and go through the process of being accepted as a DesertFlame client. If you are accepted DesertFlame will:

* edit, format and publish with the DesertFlame imprint and DesertFlame owned ISBN

* include your book in the DesertFlame catalog 

* will promote your book through signings and readings you will be asked to participate in

* will distribute your book through third parties, i.e. bookstores, gift shops, libraries, schools etc.

You will receive 50% of list price on all sales directly through DesertFlame and 50% of net returns on all books sold through a third party.

You can purchase your printed books at 50% of list price with an agreement you will not distribute through third parties.

price - assignment to DesertFlame of exclusive rights to print and distribute;

rights can be purchased back for $495 at any time within ten years of signing the contract, after that time, ownership of rights is made permanent. If rights are returned to author the ISBN remains property of DesertFlame -- so if you buy your rights back you will have to re-publish with your own ISBN..
